To enhance this resource the following changes would be beneficial:	Have both empirical and metric units on water fact sheets Provide links to water 1st international videos found on YouTube Read and discuss the Walkerton water tragedy Provide information and activities which highlight how unsafe drinking water has led to problems, illness, and death in First Nations communities in Canada Have students perform water tests on their own drinking water. (see Operation Water Drop on r4r.ca) Have students use the results of their personal water usage survey to design water conservation projects at home and at school. Provide links to sites with "hands-on" water activities Provide assessment tools for teachers Arrange a tour of a local water treatment plant
To enhance this resource the following changes are strongly recommended:	Action projects, although interesting and varied, are suggestions only and need to be fully developed.
