About EcoLeague

EcoLeague™ is a youth empowerment program that challenges and motivates students across the country to help save the planet through community and school-based sustainability action projects. EcoLeague provides "recipe" kits for both the elementary and secondary level. Funding is available to schools to undertake the action projects, and professional development to teachers to develop their skills in facilitating action projects with their students.

About Learning for a Sustainable Future

Founded in 1991 by a diverse group of youth, educators, business leaders, government and community members, LSF is a non-profit Canadian organization that was created to integrate sustainability education into Canada’s education system. LSF's mission is to promote, through education, the knowledge, skills, perspectives, and practices essential to a sustainable future. LSF has created Resources for Rethinking (R4R) to provide teachers with exemplary classroom resources for sustainability, as well as program to extend the learning with a focus on action projects and professional development. EcoLeague is one of the programs that links education to action!
